Universal Button Offers More Options with No Extra Charge
STI's announces the new "Push to Exit" button insert is now included in the Universal Button kit. This addition comes without an increase in price and allows the user even more opportunities to customize the button for specific needs.
Universal Button helps eliminate having to stock dozens of push buttons, and wasting precious time and money tracking down just the right button for a customer. The revolutionary UB-1 has everything required to provide just what the customer wants in one convenient package. Use the switch as is or it easily reconfigures for a specific application.
This single-gang button has two sets of Form "C" contacts which covers almost all electrical combinations required. The faceplate is constructed of cast aluminum, allowing it to take tough knocks in stride, and is slightly oversized to cover old plate installation marks.
The UL/cUL Listed Universal Button offers an astounding 240 different combinations for the price of a standard one configuration button. Push button package includes: standard or illuminated button, three lens button covers (red, green or blue), five button inserts (push to exit, exit, push, handicap symbol or blank) and ten color coated plate inserts in green, blue, yellow or white. Plate inserts come with embossed messages (exit or emergency) and blanks, allowing for custom labels.
The installer simply has to choose which lens cover, button insert and changeable message plate works best for the customers need. This allows the button to be mounted in a matter of minutes instead of waiting weeks for a specific button to be ordered and delivered.
